"At its heart, deconstruction of faith involves critically examining your beliefs, practices, and traditions to discern what feels authentic and what doesn’t. It’s about asking the hard questions, wrestling with doubts, and being honest about what no longer serves you .

Sometimes the answer is not more money in our pockets, removing people who make us uncomfortable, and who we do not wish to help, and it is certainly not bringing empire into our churches. Sometimes it's hard, sometimes we have to be around people who make us uncomfortable, sometimes we have to give our money away down to the last $50, sometimes we have to cancel plans, sometimes we have to invite others to join us.

 You can break a piece of crystal, or let a piece of silver tarnish beyond repair, but you can never lose the memories that guide and shape your life.

This will most likely be the last pivot I make in my lifetime, and probably the most meaningful.

So what will this blog be about? Um, EVERYTHING? Some of this and some of that. My life, my ministry, my thoughts on a million things as they hit me. I might have two followers, and that is ok.
